This dinghy was built for Dan Casey in the very early 1960’s. She was kept on the Gas Works beach for a number of years. Alan Horgan restored the boat in about 2015 and sold her to John King who sold to Andrew Cockburn, the current owner.

Her main construction / design features are:-

• All as per R1.
• The daggerboard is off centre, possibly converted after construction.
• The main mast thwarts are supported by a down stand strut as are the side seats and forward element of the aft seat. “Hour Glass” supports were added to the aft, side and main seats possibly due to “spring” in the seats.
