R9 is an early Bermudan rigged purpose built dinghy like R8 🔗. Declan Scott bought the boat from Dave Rankin, the deal being done on the steps opposite the Customs House on Lynch’s Quay as Dave emerged from the water. The boat was kindly lent by Declan to the Rankin Dinghy Class for the Rankin Worlds held at the RCYC in 2019.
